What EntryProof does not do — and will not claim

By Andy Gaber, Founder · Published September 12, 2026 · Last updated September 12, 2026

This is the liability page. The methodology explains how the free readiness check fetches public HTML. The FAQ covers limits, Solo pricing, and support. This page exists so those two cannot be stretched into a filing desk, a legal opinion, or a clearance. If a sentence below is uncomfortable, it is doing its job.

1. Why this page is separate

EntryProof is a CPSC eFiling readiness checker on enforceintel.com — a Solo product path, not a customs desk. A score is a gap index on public listing signals. Sellers still reach for stronger words: “so we are cleared,” “so you filed it,” “so we do not need a lawyer or a lab.” We will not let those words attach here.

Methodology is the scan. FAQ is the product. This page is the refuse list. It is not a CPSIA, GCC, or Section 15 guide, and it is not a rewrite of those articles already in the sitemap.

2. The claims we will not make

  • Not legal advice. Nothing on EntryProof — score, gap list, email, or this page — is counsel you can rely on. A children's-product call, an exemption, or a classification judgment belongs with your attorney, not a storefront HTML check.
  • Does not file for you. We do not transmit a PGA message set, log into the CPSC Product Registry or ACE on your behalf, or certify a filing as complete. Your broker — or you, in the Registry — still files. We are not a customs broker under 19 CFR 111.
  • Does not replace counsel, lab testing, or a GCC.A readiness score is not a lawyer, not a CPSC-accepted laboratory, and not a General Certificate of Conformity or Children's Product Certificate you actually maintain. We do not generate a GCC or CPC. Testing and certification stay with the lab and the importer.
  • No CPSC or CBP clearance guarantee. A green-looking score is not a clearance percentage. We will not claim your shipment will clear, that CBP will release it, or that CPSC will accept the packet. We do not refund against a held container.

Adjacent refusals, so they are not inferred later: no invented partner badge, no fake filing counts, no “we are CPSC-accepted,” and no promise that a cited lab is currently accredited for that specific test. Those limits are technical on the methodology page; here they are legal: we will not sell them as a result.

3. What a score is allowed to mean

A higher number means fewer of the public signals we know how to see were missing on that product page. Same HTML + same HTS ⇒ same score. It does not mean the SKU is lawful to import, list, or sell. Only your broker, the Registry, a real test report, and — when the question is legal — counsel confirm what happens next.

Paid Solo does not secretly switch to a deeper crawler that reads ACE or files for you. The recurring check is the same readiness job on a SKU list. How the fetch and ruleset work lives on the methodology; this page only states what that job is not allowed to become.

4. Soft paywall honesty

Free checks are a soft limit in this browser's localStorage (3 checks, +2 if you leave an email, then a ~24h cooldown). When the budget is used, we ask you to start Solo or come back later. We do not hard-lock the product, invent remaining seats, or call the next check “premium locked.” If storage is missing (private mode), the gate fails open so you can still check. That is a soft paywall — not a hard lock, and not fake scarcity.

Solo is $79/mo with a 14-day trial, up to 25 SKUs. The CTA deep-links Solo checkout at /cpsc-efile?checkout=solo. Limits, refunds, and Founding Trio sit on the FAQ and Terms— we are not restating the product FAQ here.

5. Support identity

Email support@enforceintel.com only — the live EntryProof host inbox. There is no in-app chat team and no CPSC help-desk we pretend to be. We are a small company: expect a human reply, not a 24/7 SLA. We do not use a retired brand mailbox.

EntryProof is a data preparation and readiness-assessment tool for the CPSC Product Registry. EntryProof is NOT a customs broker, NOT a testing laboratory, and NOT a legal-advice service. Compliance decisions remain the responsibility of the importer. EntryProof does not guarantee that any classification, packet, or filing will be accepted by CPSC or CBP.
