Third-party testing for a Children's Product Certificate must be performed at a lab listed on the CPSC Laboratory Accreditation Registry maintained under 16 CFR Part 1112. Checks store the URL and HTS you submitted, the HTML-signal findings, and a hashed IP for abuse control — not your raw IP. If you leave an email or subscribe, we store that email; Stripe handles cards (PCI DSS Level 1). CPSC's final rule (amending 16 CFR part 1110, published January 2025) made electronic filing of certificate data mandatory as of July 8, 2026 for regulated imported products. Certificate data now goes to CPSC electronically via the Product Registry or ACE at entry, instead of paper-on-request. No. EntryProof is a readiness checker and data-preparation tool. We do not transmit filings, we are not a customs broker under 19 CFR 111, and we do not stand in for counsel or a CPSC-accepted lab. Your broker (or you, in the Product Registry) still files. Software that helps you see public gaps is not a filing service and does not issue certificates or clearance.
Ask your broker one question: "Are you creating and maintaining my CPSC certificates?" The answer is usually no — brokers file entries with data you supply. Under CPSIA §14, the certificate obligation sits with the importer: you. EntryProof does not take that obligation over. We show public listing gaps so you can prepare the part that was always legally yours — with counsel and a lab, not with a clearance from us.

Because until July 8, 2026, mandatory eFiling didn't exist — certificates were furnish-on-request paper. That regime is gone. Certificate data now rides with the entry electronically, which means gaps that were invisible for years are now machine-checkable at the border. Past quiet is not future quiet. A readiness check is not a prediction that your next entry will clear.

Context only: CPSC civil penalties can run six figures per violation (inflation-adjusted caps well past $100K each), and a held container costs demurrage and missed windows.
