EntryProof questions we would rather answer plainly

EntryProof is a CPSC eFiling readiness checker — free product-page check first, Solo after. This page is the indexable product FAQ: limits, paywall, pricing, support, and retention. It is not a city-page farm, and not a rewrite of the CPSIA / GCC / Section 15 guides already in the sitemap. For how the checker works, see the methodology.
What does the free readiness check actually look at?
You paste a product-page URL (not a homepage) and, when you have it, an HTS code. Our server fetches that public HTML, canonicalizes the URL, and runs five deterministic detectors: age-grading, CPSC-accepted testing-lab names, manufacturer / country-of-origin / address language, certificate or CFR / ASTM citations, and California Prop 65 warnings. If you give a valid HTS, we also match it against 20 cited CPSIA rules (v0.7). Same HTML + same HTS → same score. No LLM is called. A higher score means fewer of those public signals were missing — it is a gap index, not a clearance percentage.
What does the free check not cover?
It does not log into CPSC’s Product Registry, ACE, or your broker’s filing system. It does not transmit a PGA message set, generate a GCC or CPC for you, or replace third-party lab testing. It cannot verify that a cited lab is currently CPSC-accepted for that test, that a cited standard is the correct one for the SKU, or that your certificate data will pass ACE validation. Other PGA agencies (FDA, USDA, EPA, ATF) are out of scope. Tariff / Section 232 exposure is TariffWatch, not this checker.
Is the free-check limit a hard lock?
No. EntryProof uses a soft paywall: this browser gets a small number of free checks (3, plus 2 more if you leave an email), then a nudge toward Solo at $79/mo with a 14-day trial. After about 24 hours the free budget can reset. If localStorage is unavailable (private mode, blocked storage), the gate fails open — we do not brick the checker. None of that is fake scarcity or a “locked premium” wall.
How much is Solo, and what do I get?
Solo is $79/mo with a 14-day trial: up to 25 SKUs monitored, recall alerts, and a recurring readiness score. That is the primary paid path from the free checker. Growth is $199/mo if you need unlimited SKUs and no trial. Live Stripe checkout is on /cpsc-efile — including a Solo deep link at ?checkout=solo. We do not invent per-user or per-SKU overage on Solo; the 25-SKU cap is the honest limit.
What is Founding Trio versus Solo?
Solo is EntryProof only. Founding Trio is a 5-seat portfolio bundle: PixelProof + EntryProof + TariffWatch for $299 prepaid for 12 months. The founding rate is held at renewal while membership stays continuous; cancel and come back later and you re-enter at public pricing. It is not a lifetime lock and not a fake countdown. If you only need the CPSC readiness path, start Solo. Details live on /founding-trio.
Is there a free trial or a refund?
Solo checkout attaches a 14-day trial. Cancel before day 15 and you should not be charged — see the billing footer on your account. Founding Trio ($299 prepaid) has a 30-day refund window. After a paid month starts, email support@enforceintel.com; we handle reasonable refund requests case-by-case. We do not guarantee CPSC or CBP acceptance, and we do not refund against a held container. Read /cpsc-efile/terms before you pay.
How do I get support?
Email support@enforceintel.com. That is the EntryProof support inbox on the live product host. There is no in-app chat team and no CPSC help-desk we pretend to be. We are a small company: expect a human reply, not a 24/7 SLA.
What data do you collect, and how long do you keep it?
Checks store the URL and HTS you submitted, the HTML-signal findings, and a hashed IP for abuse control — not your raw IP. If you leave an email or subscribe, we store that email; Stripe handles cards. Readiness-scan rows are retained 30 days, then deleted. Email opt-ins stay until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete. We do not sell listing data. Details and deletion live on /cpsc-efile/privacy; cookies we set are listed on /cpsc-efile/cookies; legal terms on /cpsc-efile/terms.
Does EntryProof file with CPSC or CBP for me?
No. EntryProof is a readiness checker and data-preparation tool. We do not transmit filings, we are not a customs broker under 19 CFR 111, and we do not stand in for counsel or a CPSC-accepted lab. Your broker (or you, in the Product Registry) still files. Software that helps you see public gaps is not a filing service.
Is this legal advice or a clearance?
No. A green-looking score is not legal advice, not a GCC/CPC, not lab testing, and not a CPSC or CBP clearance. We will not claim your shipment will clear. If a classification, children’s-product determination, or exemption is a judgment call, that belongs with counsel and your lab — not this page.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel Solo from billing; you keep access through the end of the paid period. There is no retention maze and no phone call required. Soft-paywall free checks also keep working after you cancel — they were never a paid entitlement.
Where to go next
Pricing strings on this page match the live SKUs: Solo $79/mo with a 14-day trial, Founding Trio $299/yr for all three products. Regulatory explainers (what eFiling is, how a GCC works, Section 15 penalties) stay on those dedicated guides — we are not duplicating them here. Legal detail lives on Terms, Privacy, and Cookies. Questions that are not here: email support@enforceintel.com.
EntryProof is a data preparation and readiness-assessment tool for the CPSC Product Registry. EntryProof is NOT a customs broker, NOT a testing laboratory, and NOT a legal-advice service. Compliance decisions remain the responsibility of the importer. EntryProof does not guarantee that any classification, packet, or filing will be accepted by CPSC or CBP.
